Private Internet Access (PIA) has open-source apps, a huge server network and lots of settings for people who like to tweak. Its no-logs claim has been tested in real court cases, where it had nothing to hand over.
It is US-based and owned by the same group as CyberGhost, which some privacy fans dislike. The apps are less polished than the leaders, but it is cheap and dependable.
