The bro's take
VLC Media Player is listed in our Porn Search Engines category. When we checked it, videolan.org answered over HTTPS in 48 ms and served a live page. Its own title reads “VLC: Official site - Free multimedia solutions for all OS! - VideoLAN”.
How this score works
At this size we score on what we can measure rather than on vibes: is it reachable, does it serve TLS, how fast is the first response, and how many hops does it bounce you through. VLC Media Player currently sits at 8.5/10. That is an automated check, not a hands-on session — we say so because you should know which one you are reading. Dead or hijacked domains get pulled on the next pass.
